IK Multimedia Presents "iPDJ" Mobile Groove Event @ Voodoo Lounge, Fort Lauderdale

Experience the first night ever of House, Breaks and Drum-N-Bass infused with the latest technology in mobile music production! First, watch your favorite DJ's fluidly groove a live set battling on their iPhones/iPod Touches with GrooveMaker apps for House, Electro, DnB and more! Breakdancers will grace the floor to the iPDJ groove set. Then, jam out on the dancefloor to 3 full-featured hour-long DJ sets from Chris Domingo, Scratch-D of Dynamix II. RiffWorks Video Contest: $200 in Prizes Won By Oscar Garrigues
Musicians used RiffWorks to create a songs for videos, posted it to YouTube with a RiffWorksContest tag. Congratulations to Oscar Garrigues for winning our first RiffWorks video contest! Oscar is a guitar teacher from Spain who wowed us with his catchy riffs and near flawless ability. Oscar took home an IK Multimedia StealthPedal ($199) and 5 RiffWorks InstantDrummer Sessions ($49.95) as his prize. Live In-Store Appearance: The 88 Demonstrated How They Used FourTrack
The 88 and the Sonoma Wire Works team will be making a live in-store appearance at The Grove Apple store in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. In addition to a Q & A session, The 88 will demonstrate how they recorded "Love Is the Thing" on their iPhone and perform an acoustic set.
