I just installed Gear Box/Riffworks last night and was trying to figure it all out. I did not have any sound coming through my computer speakers. I could use headphones through the guitar port, but I don't want to have to do that everytime. What do I need to do???

I will try it tonight when I get home, thanks!!

I noticed the speaker output jacks on the back of the guitar port. I assume you can run external speakers. Is it possible to run a small amp and speakers off of the guitar port, or should I upgrade my computer speakers?? Any suggestions, or recommendations?

OK, I downloaded the ASIO4all, I click on the audio setup, the box opens, but there is nothing to select from in the ASIO device drop down menu and the output channel??? If I click on Open Asio Control panel, all it does is close the box??? What am I doing wrong??

Yes I installed it, and I have the icon, so I assume it is running, but I still get no sound out of my computer speakers. I ended up running a cable from my guitar port headphone jack to my computer soundcard, and that worked. Is that OK?
I am going to invest in a small set of studio monitors to run out of my gutarport, that should sound better than my computer speakers.

You should be able to run a cable that comes with GP from the 'IN' socket on the back of GP to your soundcard then plug your computer speakers to their 'normal' OUT socket at the back of the computer.

Are you getting Windows sounds when you log on/log off?

When you run RiffWorks, what appears when you click the 'Audio Setup' button in the bottom right hand corner?
Cheers!
Scott
