This might just be me but, since upgrading to GearBox3.0, I've noticed that signals are recording hotter than with GuitarPort.
I'm still using my GP until the funds allow me to sneek a Toneport in the house without the missus noticing, but I wondered if GB is optimised in some way for the TP hardware? Anyone else noticed a difference?
Cheers!

You should be able to adjust the recording output level from within gearbox. If +18db is checked, then uncheck it.

Yeh, done all that and turned down the signal to the hardware too. Still feel that the signal is much hotter than before. I've got the gain on the riff layers down to quarter. No big shakes though ... I'll cope! :)
Cheers!

I also notices a small difference in the input signal after gearbox 3.0. Especially when I RiffLink it seems that my recordings needs to be turned down quite a bit. Many of my tones in the POD XTL that didn't clip before is doing so now. It's easy to adjust though.
Peace.

Yeah, me too. I've encountered the little "clip" alert a lot more since going to GearBox 3.
