Acoustic guitar through Toneport UX2 mic input?

Is it possible to record acoustic guitar through the mic input of Toneport UX2? I have a Taylor 314ce and the appropriate cable, I just wanted to be sure that the port was not too hot.

Totally possible....... and it sounds WAY cool!!! you just can't do Mic 1 and Instrument at the same time!
Not with RW 2 yet anyways!

Just turn down the trim of the mic input, but yeah, you could totally record that direct. Run it through a neve mic pre model with a little reverb and some compression. Sound mighty nice.
