Dave the administrator in a previous query stated the following

That is definitely the problem then. Where did you install RiffWorks Line 6 Edition? Unfortunately, the registration app won't find the installation unless you put it in the default location on your C drive. Making it do a better job of finding your installation is something we're working on, but for now its best to install in the default location.

Dave if you read this can you please let me know where the default location is as I am unable to activate drummers I have downloaded.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Scott I have tried your suggestion but still no joy. Riffworks loads most of the way but stops with an onscreen message of Error Loading Song File Format Invalid

Oops! I mis-read your first post - hence the probable reason things didn't work. Sincere apologies. I shall now move to clean my glasses! I gave you the default location for the Instant Drummers, not RWS itself. It might be at ...

"C:Program FilesSonoma Wire WorksRiffWorks StandardRiffWorksStandard.exe"

but .. just to cover my back a little, I don't run the Line6 edition myself but it may also default to C:Program FilesLine6RiffWorks with it being a Line6 purchase.

Failing all of this, you could uninstall and reinstall RiffWorks, accepting all of the default settings it gives you throughout the process.

Scott thanks again but once more i am thwarted. From the digging around I have done I think the line6 version of this product behaves differently to the normal Sonoma version.
