I usually use my Toneport UX2 as the ASIO device for RW2, but today I thought I would use my Presonus Firepod instead. However, I noticed the latency for the Firepod inside RW2 was clear up to 19.xx ms. I always leave the Firepod set to 6.0ms on its own settings pop-up. How can I reduce the latency inside RW2 so that I can run the Firepod at the lower setting? This is never an issue with the UX2. Seems weird to me.

Thanks!

The UX2 bypasses RW in order to monitor. You monitor through gearbox. Therefore, your latency with the Toneport is not based on your buffer setting, but rather your ASR (audio stream reliability) slider. You can run the audio setup from inside Riffworks, (the button on the lower right hand side), and change your buffer setting from there. Lower buffer settings will reduce latency, but increase cpu usage. Higher buffer settings decrease cpu usage, but increase latency.
