Every time I try to change a preset in Guitar Rig 2 Riffworks 2 Standard hangs and I have to unplug my sound card. This is VERY frustrating! Is there a patch coming soon that will support Guitar Rig 2? The VST support is sketchy.

Thanks,
Rich

I do not believe GR was ever officially supported..........it is basically use at your own risk. I know several other RW users were talking about this a while back.......and to my knowledge there was no plan to do anything about it. Anyone else want to chime in? Mickey......Bob..........anyone?

I am just praying for more overall VST support in the next version on RW. I would love to be able to use my keyboard / synth / horns plugins with an actual USB keyboard instead of one note at a time with my mouse.

I can't really comment on the GRig thing as I just use it as a VST thru RW2 .......without the pedal board (Demo Version)........Yeah it does crash RW2 every so often I was using GuitarPort at the time and used GRig 2 for mostly Bass tones , but have since upgraded to TonePort and Bass Expansion so I haven't used GRig very much......if indeed at all since my upgrade.......
so none of this helps "Blue" with his answers which should prolly come from the Sonoma folks anyways......

To my knowledge we've only ever tested RiffWorks with the demo version of Guitar Rig and it's likely there are bugs we didn't see. I'll see what we can do, but I'm not sure what our plans are for officially being compatible with Guitar Rig.

Guitar Rig is Awesome...you guys should bundle the software version with your next release...or have it as an upgrade option.

Absolutely. I've said from day1 that it beats Amplitube hands down!
Cheers!

What does GuitarRig beat? Amplitube LE (duh!) or Amplitube 2? Because if you're comparing GuitarRig to Amplitube LE then you're comparing apples to oranges. I'd like to see a head to head comparison between GuitarRig and Amplitube 2. I think that IK's tones knock the socks off GuitarRig's, but that's just one man's opinion. :P

You'll have to let us have Amplitube2 as part of the next release then!! :)
Cheers!

For you Scott, I'd give you the whole IK Media company if it were my choice. :)
