Good point, but I find I need it most just in the duplicated riffs that, being duplicates, have the same length, tempo and time signature. I'd also like to thank you for your replies to our questions and help with our problems. You've been quite helpful. I love my Line 6 hardware, but I think they market some items that don't live up to what I've come to expect from them. I bought the BassPod XT Live expecting it to be the bass version of PodXT Live. Then I found it wasn't compatible with gearbox or the L6 version of Riffworks. After much correspondence with L6's customer service, they suggested I return the unit or exchange it for the POD XT Live. Why would they put a BassPOD unit on the market, at the same price as the POD XT live, with less than half the functionality? And, adding to my disappointment, they offered the bass expansion pack just after I purchased the BassPod! I took their advice, sold the unit, and purchased the "real" POD XT Live and added the bass expansion pak. Now I'm totally happy! This unit is real L6 technology, the best. I also own the guitar port, and a Flextone II HD halfstack that is hands down the best amp I've ever played through.
Can you shed any light on the apparent split between Sonoma and L6? I puchased Riffworks L6 edition and my first drum sessions from the L6 site. Then L6 quit selling the drum sessions. Now, they're bundling a different recording software with their product. Whats up? Riffworks is the only recording software I want to use, hope you can use your influence to point L6 back in the right direction. I want compatability between the two companies products. I also miss the "one stop shop" at L6 for drummers and Sonoma products. Ooop's gotta go now, and work on my version of "Ramblin Man".
Thanks again HBursk.
