Strange buzz

Hello all,

Sometimes Riffworks hangs for a second and an strong buzz is played back.
This hapens while recording or playing a song.

Does someone know a solution for this?

Are you using GearBox and if so, do you get pops and white noise while using that GearBox application alone? The noise might be related L6's on-going issue with some computer motherboards and PCMCIA USB cards. I have replaced mine, as L6 suggests, but to no avail.

I get that buzz and sometimes the drivers nut up on me when I switch riffs during playback......used to happen a lot with the GuitarPort........but now have a TonePort which seems to not do it as much.
