Howdy All!

I'm having a big problem with the new software. When I open it up the thing is soooooooooooooo big that I can't even use it. I tried messing with the screen resolution in windows but when I make that smaller everything else in windows becomes smaller as well. (Us old guys need everything as big as possible) Any thoughts on how I can fix this problem without creating another?

Any help would be apreciated!

And to all! I wish a very happy holiday season!

You'll probably need a larger monitor. If you like things on your screen to appear as large as possible - this is your only soloution. A 19" - 20" monitor would be my suggestion. I, myself can't get enough space on my screen - and is about to buy myself a 22" monitor. At the moment I run @ 1280 x 1024 on a 19" and I think RiffWorks userinterface is kind of small and have been waiting for a version fix for running higher resoloutions for some time now. When I get my 22" monitor, I'll be running 1680x1050 pixels. So, what I'm saying is: If you have a 17" monitor or less, you should run under at least 1024x768 to make room for the user interface... If things appear too small on the screen - you'll have to move closer.... or put a larger monitor on the wish list for christmas.
Peace.

A piano has about 7.500 moving parts - that's why I play the guitar...

We will try to ship more resolutions sometime in the future.

Bill,

The Paul Stanley pic is the screen background for my main PC. I have one for Ace, Gene & Peter as well that I have on each of my other computers. I can e-mail them to you if you want.
Cheers!

Thanks Mickey!

Hey let's all get together and record a KISS song for RiffCaster. We can all take turns. Any suggestions for a song?

I always loved Cold Gin ....would sound great with Scott on vox or Love Gun ......but don't think you could do that one with instant drummers.
Bill?......just curious, can you sing?

How about Beth? But make it our own with solos..... and I (or Anybody else) could do some piano and we could alternate verses vocally..... I'm sure that Kiss thought about doing that or did and remixed......like an 80's power ballad!

Yo! Love Gun is da' bomb! Let's do it. I'm going to install RW2 tomorrow. I don't really like it but if you know another way to colab I'll do it. I'm going to put up "Shock Me" in a couple of days when I get a chance to do the vocals. To answer your question Micky, I can sing at least as good as Ace can! Not that it is saying too much! :)

I have one problem guys. I really can't use RW2. I'm having a very big problem getting it to fit to my 19" screen. If I change the resolution everything else becomes too small. I thought that they would have this bug figured out by now. Well, until them I'm using RW1. So I need to transfer songs in a different way. Any thoughts?

Bill,

Mines a 19" screen too and RWS fits fine. I have the resolution set at 1024x768.
Cheers!
