I feel ya Ken...If i hit play in the song bar ,the program crashes ,,sometimes with a"UNKNOWN ERROR" and sometimes a "UNHANDELD EXCEPTION" This only happens with a new riff [like the 1 you get at startup] or a "create riff" ..i can play the new riff in the riff bar,but the songbar dumps..Ive had this problem for 3 months now and no solution has been offered from SWW...Ive done the fozbug/long distance phone calls/sent dump file/song file thing..I delete and redownload and install rw2.. same problem...this will be the last time i post about this..the balls is in SWW court...lol...peace and out...

Hello
These problems sound frustrating.

kenster32,
We are working on an update now, and I will make sure we give attention to the max layers issue.

strat,
I know you have worked with us on this problem quite a bit. I will talk to Dug about it and put some time and energy into it. If you haven't provided a recipe to demonstrates this issue maybe you could do it now.

See if you can write a step by step series of actions that produce this issue. Start with "Launch RiffWorks". If the issue does not happens every time when following the step by step instructions then try to give some idea of how many times it does. If we can reproduce the problem you are seeing, then we are that much closer to solving it.

Thanks everyone!

I had the unhandled exception crash for the first time ever today. What causes it is when I am using Amplitube and I try to decrease the buffer size form 512 to 256. Each time I did that it crashed when I hit the record button.

Each proggy would run fine by themselves separately, but as soon as I load the Amplitube VST and make that change down she goes. Then I have to restart to use either program again. Just a heads up Dan!
