When you say, "...and nothing happens", can you explain a bit more about what you're doing to try and get RWS to work?
Cheers!

Do you see the RiffWorks screen at all? If you do, does it by any chance hang up on "Hi-Cowbell"?

Also curious what operating system are you running. Is it by any chance Windows Media Center?

So, if I understand you right, you double click the RW icon (the black guitar pick with the RW logo) and nothing appears on your screen? Do you get the egg timer indicating the PC is waiting?
Are you clicking a desktop icon?

Try this to see if the desktop icon is wonky ...
To make sure RWS isn't running in the background, hold down the 'Ctrl' and 'Alt' keys on your keyboard and tap the 'Delete' key once - to bring up the Task Manager. Click on the 'Processes' tab and look down the list for any instances of "RiffWorksStandard.exe" being mentioned. If there are any there, highlight them and click the 'End Process' button. This will allow you to make a clean start.
Next, avoid the desktop icon by going to either the Start->All Programs list and choosing from the Sonoma Wire Works->RiffWorks Standard sub-menu OR go to the .exe icon at C:Program FilesSonoma Wire WorksRiffWorks Standard.
Cheers!

Hi riffer7777

Are you still having problems....?? Seems so far that ans. is yes.
I take it your OS is WinXP......as it won't work on earlier versions.
At this point (and keep Sonoma informed too) but I get the feeling you had something go wrong in the installation. It might be time ta rip it all out and do a reinstall.
Wish you luck

Yeah...do what Scott just said before going my drastic route

I think you should e-mail someone at Sonoma direct. There are issues with chipsets etc. so if you could let them know your system spec. and as much detail as possible (refer to this thread too) I'm sure they'll come up with something.
Try dan@sonomawireworks.com or randy@sonomawireworks.com as well as support@sonomawireworks.com

Sorry to hear you're at your wits end but keep persevering!!
