ive invested in 1GB of ddr ram to run this baby more smoothly.ive got 713mb at present but im boosting up to 1 and 1/2 GB.i noticed that when i have aol, standard, amplitube, and gearbox open standard riffworks labours at times.the screen can tend to break up a little also.this should do the trick.yet again the good old US of A kicks arse on price. $154 in uk and $88 in usa.[god bless america hey]

You can't go wrong upgrsding RAM. I noticed a big difference when I did mine. Thinking of doubling it again to 2 MB. And you damn sure can't beat the price!
I act like I want to, not like I should.

I went to 2GB from 1GB.......didn't notice the performance jump as much as I did going from 512MB to 1GB. But then we all know how well Windows handles the memory allocation....LOL

you can use standard without internet until you need to riffcast it or rifflink it but its a pain having to shut down programmes then reopen.also guitarport online needs an internet connection so you can use the player which is to hand for warming up etc etc.its more convenient to have the lot running.
