I just downloaded riffworks standard and everything works....except I don't see the Line 6 feature in it anymore.

I originally purchased the Line 6 rifftracker (aka riffworks) and I use the line6 guitarport with it. But I have no idea what to do with the Standard version. Maybe I'm just missing something?

Some help would be apreciated

You have to fire up GearBox separately now.............it's the same in both versions of RiffWorks 2/Standard and Line 6 Edition
Small price to pay for the extra added features......and you will quickly get used to it in no time........

so I fire up the Line 6 guitar port and that will record into the riffworks?

Did you run the Line 6 Monkey to update your GuitarPort/GearBox? If not download The latest monkey at Line 6 .com.....I think its Version 1.15 .........you should see GearBox not GuitarPort when you fire it up...............

When GuitarPort came out first it was a piece of hardware and software all under the same name.
Various upgrades and a refocus from Line 6 now sees your original GuitarPort hardware using 'GearBox 3.0' software to run it. 'GearBox' looks and feels exactly like the old GP software but with some added enhancements. The only thing that may stop you using it is a under spec'd computer. Your 'Monkey' will tell you if your computer is up to GB3.0 standards.
