System restore lost all songs

I did a System restore
when i started riff works all songs were gone from
C:Documents and SettingsKenMy DocumentsSonoma Wire WorksRiffWorksSongs
where the are saved
ALL OF THEM like 20ish in the works
i cant get the file extension name IE .jpeg or .exe to do a search
does any one know what the extension for riff works songs is OR
where the songs might have gone
i know during reinstall windows will create a file copy but i couldn't find one for this

songs are .rws files

That's awful! Can you tweak the system restore settings to not include files that are located in your My Documents folder?

restore created a file on my backup hard drive it doesnt usually use 2nd drives

but found them all intact

this wasn't a riffwork flaw it was a System Restore anomaly thanks for the quick response
and help solving it
