Junt (arm) -

this was one of the first things I saw when unwrapped my shiny new rifftracker. Although it seemed cool at the time, I dont think i was using it correctly.

This is how I used it,

-CLick on 'Junt' then start playing a riff

- then it would start record, usually not where I wanted it, but that was ok because I would wind up with some offbeat variation.

Now I could be totally offbase here, and I probably am.

How do you use it? OR how should it be used?

Try this,
-Create a new riff, turn on the metronome or drummer
-Click Arm and Set Tempo
-Strum with palm muting, junt junt junt junt in rhythm and then start playing your riff.

RiffWorks should start recording your song and the metronome and drummer should be in sync.

The idea here is that you don't want to click record (or press enter) then pick up your guitar banging it on the table as you go.

Also, if you are using presets from Line6 that include delays and such, it makes it harder (impossible?) to use.

It's more of an issue in part, dan, due to not having viewd downloadable instructions wmv's.

(56 k connection) I am going to experiment with it some more.

here's the key......

"Strum with palm muting (junt junt junt junt) in rhythm for the number of counts you have set in the time signature."

this is a cool feature if you want to get the tempo from "feel" vs. bpm. play with it!! :)
