Thanks for the update Sonoma! The addition of Amp2 Live and the new drummer were MORE than generous!! I wish the bug with NI Guitar Rig 2 would have been fixed. While the VST works fine at startup, as soon as I change patches in Guitar Rig 2 I get the "Not Responding" message and BOTH programs CRASH.

Was this on the list for fixes? I'll check the release notes...

Thanks,
Rich

I found a workaround for this. The programs hang when after recording a layer I try to change the patch in Guitar Rig 2. If I uncheck "Amp" in RiffWorks 2.1 and re-check it, Guitar Rig 2 will open a new instance of itself and I am able to change patches freely. That is until I record another layer. At this point I have to reset Guitar Rig 2 again by checking "Amp" on and off. A small annoyance.

Response time is better and I think some improvement was made so, all is not lost. I'm happy I found a way to make it work :) Thanks again for the great update. I'm really diggin' the new Funk drummers!!

Glad you found a work around. I'll make sure the engineers are aware of this.

Thanks,

GuitarRig and RiffWorks
So let me know: has the issue with GuitarRigg 2 and RiffWorks been fixed and can you download a patch or update?

Hi Benny,

It looks as though Blue4u has found a work around:

Hi Randy and everybody else
Maybe I did not explain the problem clearly enough:
I can launch RiffWorks without any problems, but as soon as I want to choose NI Guitar Rig 2 under effects and amp RiffWorks crashes. So it is not as issue of the program "hanging" after I have recorded the first riff; I simply never get this far.
The funny thing is that I did not have the problem when I used NI Guitar Rig 2 in the demo version.
Another thing is that nothing happens when I refresh the amp list i RiffWorks, so plug-ins that I have uninstalled still appear on the amp-list.
It must be possible to make a patch for these problems.
