windows vista and riffworks standard

whats the story with this at the moment.is it compatable?thinking of getting new pc but everything for sale is vista.any views?cheers guys.

My best advice is to wait a little longer for software and hardware companies to develop solid Vista compatible drivers and firmware. It's never a good idea to jump on the new OS train for at least a few months after its release.
RiffWorks V1 will remain unsupported and won't work with Vista. RiffWorks Standard *should* be fully compatible, but we're not finished testing that yet. But even if RiffWorks Standard is compatible, there's a good chance that peoples' hardware drivers won't be.
