Rw 2.1.0.2707

Last night I opened RiffWorks and was directed to the 2.1 update. I downloaded the update and installed it and all was well.

Today, I opened RW and it tells me there is an update to 2.1.0.2707. I downloaded the update and installed it. When I start RW I get the prompt for the 2707 update again. I check the about information for my install of RW and it says that I am running build 2699. Where is the 2707 build?

Hi Indy,

That's odd now, isn't it? Next time you launch RiffWorks, save the 2707 updater to a new folder on your desktop. Then run the installer from that new folder and let us know how that works.

Thanks Randy. That worked. The files from the 2699 must have been cached and since I was running the 2707 update from the same folder the old files were just being used. Clearing the temp folders probably would have worked as well.
