What hardware / soundcard are you using?

If you have a Toneport its very very easy to do.

What kind of mic do you have, and what device are you using? For example a dynamic mic will work into a GuitarPort with the right cable, or a condenser mic into a TonePort UX2 or something else that has Phantom power.

The answer is yes but it depends on what you have!

I'd have thought that if you can d/i your acoustic, you can do the same with the mic (connection fittings and phantom power permitting).
Cheers!

I use a Shure/Radio Shack Hi-Z mic into a GuitarPort using a GearBox BassMan emulation for harmonica. Works fine.
Edit: Oops! I didn't read your post too carefully. You were talking about acoustic guitar not acoustic harmonica!
