breaking up/please can someone help?

my riffworks is still breaking up,cant use it no more.the money ive spent having upgrades didnt work.got pentium 4 put in [3.0ghz],1 1/2 gb ram.pan and gain dials at the bottom of riffworks end up in the middle of my screen broken up.maybe its my settings?i just dont know.im at an all time low with this.any help would be appreciated like you wouldnt know !!!thank you.

try changing your screen setings try them all
start in safe mode to see if its still afected savemode dosent load all drivers
install on anouther computer to make sure your copys good
unistall and search and delete any and all things then download new copy and start over
is you sound card old???????make sure your sound card is compatible barrow one from a friend
or buy one and if it dont fix it return the card
there can be any combo of problems good luck
