I have just downloaded the riffworks demo and although it works with my Tascam US-122 interface on my laptop I'm very surprised that it will not work with my EMU soundcard on my desktop machine, the application freezes when loading the drum kit, I did get it to work with my Tascam FW-1804 interface on my laptop but the next time I started the application the very same freezing problem occured as with my desktop machine, I have read the list of recommended hardware, this seams rather too limiting.

Hi Rnms,

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm not sure if the freezing problem you're experiencing on your desktop is due to the two audio interfaces you're using. It may very well be, but I'd like to rule out some other things first. What kind of machine is it? Windows XP service pack 2? Athalon or Intel? Do you know what the chipset is? How much Ram are you using?

Have you downloaded the latest drivers for both your EMU and Tascam interfaces?
