activating riffworks on new computer

Hello

I recently got a new PC, and have moved my Guitarport hardware and the Gearbox and Riffworks apps over to it. Everything seems to work except when I start Riffworks, it tells me activation has failed.

I have tried the "refresh" technique in the Line6 monkey, and it appears to work, but when I start Riffworks again I get the same "activation failed" message. I then went to my account page to see if I could download the registration form app, but the only downloads I see available to me is one instant drummer file.

Help me out!

Hi Francis,

We got rid of the Registration App. If you upgrade to 2.1 you won't need that, instead you'll just enter your username and password once and you'll be registered. However, it sounds like you're having a problem with the Line 6 activation. I can't help you with that unfortunately, you'll have to contact Line 6 support to see if they have a solution.
