Hmmm Kinda, but I'm going to caution you from trying it because you can make your computer crash quite nice doing it. If you wanna try. Download the chainer, Load it up in Riffworks. Then from inside the chainer load up EZ Drummer. Open EZ drummer (it defaults at 120BPM) Pick your favorite midi file and start it playing. Then using record on Riffworks. Press record trying to line up the start of the midi drum loop with the start of the metronome and if your lucky (3 out of 10 times) your first layer is a drum loop recorded into RW. I know it's not much help

The down side of this is that you can only go 120BPM because RIffworks does not send temp information to the VST section. Oh, and you will most likely want to eat the closest gun after using it this way for about an hour.
On that note I wish RW sent midi tempo and Start / Stop data to the VST section cause you could use this great VST called Jamstix. Jamstix is kinda like an instant drummer that plays along with an Audio or Midi signal. It works well and is not to pricey. It can also nest EZ drummer and use the sounds from that VST as well
Hope that helps a little bit,
Marty
