Spamming

I know it's kind of a pain for new users, but I would think requiring e-mail validation for new users would help. I see this on alot of boards usually with a character image they have to enter in that can't be read by spam bots.

I think using a 'captcha' is something Sonoma will be considering, along with other anti-spam software. The software seems to have helped on RiffCaster.
Randy's 'manning' (or 'personning' for the politically correct) the fort while the others are at Musikmesse in Germany, sampling the German beer whilst looking at, 'die Damen mit großen Krügen und die Männer mit großen Würsten' (oh, and promoting RiffWorks!)

An aside: GuitarSlinger's animated avatar is well done. The animation including his face is a new feature - isn't it?

I made the animation using Animation Shop 3. It comes with Paint Shop Pro. Very easy program to use. The hard part was getting it to look decent at under 10kb.
