Riffworks Line6 Edition: I cant hear anything

I got the Podxt Live. I downloaded all of the software (Gearbox, Riffworks, Line 6 edit, Variax Workbench, firmware, and drivers) using Line 6 monkey. I connected my Podxt Live to the computer using the USB port (directly to the computer). I am using a HP dv1010us laptop. When using riffworks, it seems to acknowledge that my guitar is making sound (the two bars in the bottom left light up when i play), but the computer doesn't make any sound. It records, but it doesnt playback. It doesn't make any sound when i use gearbox as well.

Awsome...the thing where you had to monitor through the Pods Headphone thing worked. It also worked when you put an output through the left mono to an amp.
