Is that normal? The very, very first time I opened it, I got the window, but then went to the IK site to register and all that, couldn't get it to work, and quit. So nothing ever got authorized at all either way.

Yet, it opens fine and gives me no indication it's the demo. In fact, I manually deleted everything from the demo before installing it just to be safe.

Is there any way to check the program to see if it's registered? I see nothing in the menus like that.

Hi Synterx,

The Sonoma gang is kind of a little busy of late and it might take you a bit to get a response from them. I am not sure if any of the members can give you a good response right now.
Did you buy yours through the online store or the new boxed version? (RW Standard I believe is the only version available in the box.)

You will want to be registered as to have all the whistles and bells with RiffLink, RiffCast and the future purchase of Instant Drummers. This will give you an online account where you can download the software that pertains to your particular account and also to log onto the services.

Here are the steps to Register your RiffWorks Standard.

1) Launch RiffWorks.

2) Click on the RiffLink button at the top of the RiffRecorder panel. What does it say in the Username box? If it says unregistered, continue to register via the RiffCast button. If it says something other than unregistered, what does it say?

3) Click on the RiffCast button at the top of RiffWorks. Type in your Sonoma Key username and password. Your username is: keepitrockn1005
