I'm getting ready to buy a new desktop system. Is there an easy way to transition from my old computer to the new one? I use the latest line 6 version of RW. Will I need any numbers from the original purchase and where can I find them?

Thanks

Hi,

If you're a Windows user then it will be likely that your new computer will come pre-installed with Windows Vista. If you purchased the latest version of RiffWorks from Line 6, then you should be able to re-download RiffWorks from Line 6 once you have the new computer and then authorize it again using the key (which is also available in your Line 6 account details at www.line6.com).

You should copy and save your RiffWorks song and preset files to CD so you will have them available on the new computer.

Please let us know if you need further assistance,
