Compatibility for Gearbox is green on all items

Windows XP (SP2)

Speakers are plugged into the headphone jack.

In the input section on the lower left of the screen, it is registering input when strumming the guitar.

the light on the Guitarport also reacts to guitar input.

If I hit the record button, I hear the drums very well, but I do not hear the guitar.

When I play back, I hear the guitar, but it is at fairly low volume even though the guitar is all the way up. gain controls are all at default settings.

try hitting the Hardware button on the lower part of the RW screen--i'm not sure if Guitarport requires hardware monitoring or not but give it a try. also, you might check you Monitoring level in Gearbox.

Same thing with me but the fix is easy. Plug your headphones into the Guitarport.
