I have used RiffWorks 1 alot and had no problems with it. RiffWorks 2.1 upgrade was loaded and I can't hear any guitar or any input. The meter shows a minimal signal but no sound. Drum tracks come out fine. I have tried listening with headphones into the guitarport headphone jack as well as monitor speakers. Any Ideas not mentioned in previous threads?
Thanks

Hi Richard,

You'll want to update your Line 6 software for your audio device as well. I assume you're using the Line 6 Edition of RiffWorks with a Guitarport or a PODxt. Download Gearbox 3.10 from http://www.line6.com/software

That will install the latest drivers for use with RiffWorks 2.1.

Also, RiffWorks 1 loaded Guitarport along with RiffWorks. RiffWorks 2.1 does not do that. You must launch Gearbox (the new Guitarport software) as a separate application in order to hear your guitar tone.

Thanks Hayden. I did get the Gearbox a while ago so I'll give it a try tonight.

I'm having an issue with no sound. It crashed, and when I brought it back up the meters register and all looks fine, except no sound what so ever. This happened before, and I uninstalled and re-installed & updated. it worked after that. But this time after re-installing, no sound. Any ideas?

Do I loose any drivers when I uninstall? Using toneport ux1.

Try maybe unplugging and repluging in the USB. Also if that doesn't do it try a reboot. Sometimes this works for some of the people here that have run across this.

Hi everyone
A while ago I installed RiffWorks with a demoversion og GuitarRig 2 and everything worked fine. Since then I bought a full version of GuitarRig 2 and installed it. Now RiffWorks crash when I try to activate it through the Amp setting in RiffWorks.
Any tips?

Hi bennydahl,

I initially tested RiffWorks with the demo version of GuitarRig and everything worked just like you describe. Then I got the full version and it had some weird bugs. I fixed a couple of them for 2.1 but there are more. NI has some copy protection in GuitarRig that makes it so I can't load the plug-in while I'm using a debugger. I met with them while we were at Musik Messe in Germany to ask if I could get a version that would let me fix the problem, but I haven't heard back yet.

cheers,
