Popping in Riffworks

I have had a lot of trouble getting Riffworks to work properly. First there was a driver issue, and then this popping noise. It goes for the entire part of the song that I record. If I layer tracks, it really starts to pop.

I'm running XP, Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM
I have a Lexicon Omega. I know that elsewhere they were not liked because of timing issues. I got it working on a newer driver, but I was thinking that this wasn't a driver issue. The program says that it is clipping, but I don't know how I would turn it down, or something of that nature.
