Ok, I guess I'm just ipod stupid. Is there anyone here who can explain to me how to get a song off the sonoma site and onto my ipod. Michelle said that I had to "open stream" and then enter the url of the song using itunes. It doesn't work for me.

Example. Groove on D, one of the entrys to the rumble. Here's the url.
[broken link]

I go to "open stream" in itunes, add this url, push enter, and nothing happens, except for an entry that says "post.php" that cannot be played.

Please give me directions from start to finish, how to add the song, how to then find the song, and how to play the song, on my ipod.

It should be illegal to create anything that a 10 year old can use, but a 40 year old can't.

Well...I didn't get it to work with "Open Stream" (under the "Advanced" Menu) but "Subscribe to Podcast" worked...sort of. There's only 10 songs showing up on the RSS feed (and 2 of them are mine :) ). It doesn't look like it was updated with the final songs.

The alternative if you just want one or two is download the .ogg files and convert them to MP3 in Audacity or whatever you have that will do that. Then put them into iTunes.

Ok, I think I've got it licked. Michelle had given me the url:
[link changed, so redirecting to contest info]
http://www.sonomawireworks.com/riffrumbleVII/audiofeed/

That URL would not work for me. Not until I pulled the trailing slash off the end of it.

http://www.sonomawireworks.com/riffrumbleVII/audiofeed

That URL works, however, sonoma apparently only shows the last ten posts on the pages for the audiofeeds. Head to the address above, and you'll see what I mean. It does not contain all the riffrumble entries.

I agree that there should be a limit as to how many of the newest songs should be on these rss pages, and ten seems like a good round number. But for the riffrumble audiofeed in particular, there should be an exception.

Yikes. Sorry about only 10 showing up. I'll ask for that to be fixed.
