Most of us are guitar players because we got into riffworks through a bundled piece of Line 6 gear. There are several resident singers here, and most can stay on pitch and carry a tune, but I've not yet heard "the guy" if you know what I mean. Eventually though, you can bet that some kid in the middle of nowhere is gonna pick up a toneport and a good mic and damn well make a name for himself on rifflink. It's going to be interesting when rifflink starts attracting the vocalist crowd in particular.
Hey Sonoma, hows about striking up a software bundling deal with Shure?
In the meantime, there are other sites that you can visit to find vocal talent. They may not be able to hook up via rifflink, but I would imagine that putting vocals over an mp3 that's mixed well would be no big deal to many of these guys. But don't forget to tell any and all vocalists you meet about rifflink and toneport!
And welcome!
