Hey Epauley,
Don't know if this is relevant but I ran a ZDnet (Ziff Davis pc magazine people ?) test on my pc and it reported the need for a better graphics card with lots of onboard ram and sound card for it to run properly, along with other stuff I can't remember, probably ram etc, so decided to stick with what I had for the time being. I'm running XP Home SP 2 on an AMD Athlon and 1800 mhz board with 1gb ram. The only time I get speed or loading hangups is if I've got background stuff running, email host, MSN etc. Also if I'm up late....haha....Junkies don't get much sleep......and my virus checker kicks in on automatic pilot, everything goes into slow motion. Only other comment I have is when I have a lot of layers going on in riffs my pc produces glitches and farts when it go from one riff to the next through a song, I've put this down to the amount of ram but I'm not sure. RiffWorks does appear to require a lot of graphics capacity from your pc, especially if you have any dropdown waves showing by pressing the info button on a layer.
Hope this helps,
Uncle Bill.
