On the Riffworks program there is a section on the drummer/rex area that is for re-wire. What is this and how do I use it? I'm always looking for new ways to do percussion and create new combos. I have a ton of wav samples I am trying to figure out if I can convert them to something usable with riffworks.
Any help is always appreciated.

ReWire is a protocol created by Propellerhead Software that allows you to run two or more audio applications together in sync. If you see the ReWire logo on a product, then chances are it can be used with RiffWorks. Some popular ReWire applications are:

Reason 3.0 - http://www.propellerheads.se

Ableton Live - http://www.ableton.com

thanks Hayden. Dude, you are always the answerman. I'll try to get a program that will convert wav files to rex2 with minimal expence. I was hoping for an easier answer but what fun would that be.

Propellerheads ReCycle is the only program that converts wav to REX
