I was messin' around with a combo of effects and was trying to get a reverse/backwards sound like Jimi Hendrix Are You Experienced. Are there any effects or combo of effects currently available in RiffWorks that can duplicate this? If not, are there plans in the near future to develope something like this? That would be huge.

Thanks

If you're using a Line 6 interface (guitarport or POD XTL) therei s a reverse delay effect. Once, accidentally, I got a really great reverse effect using Riffworks envelope filter. Search Riffcaster for "ThrobbyRobby" and listen to "Outer Limits". The reverse sounds were achieved by duplicating the guitar riff and adding the envelope filter to that riff.

Sweet,
thanks man. Hope it works. Got some ideas for some trippy 60's style Strawberry Alarm Clock type stuff. This will come in handy.

Theres a reverse delay effect in GearBox that does just what you want.............. just click on the Delay box then on Effect Model and the window will open up choose Reverse and you have up to 2000ms of reverse delay time......it's a cool effect..........or try The FX junky model pack add on from Line 6 it's also got some cool stuff in it.

Thanks guys as always. Just gotta get the time away from the job and wife to plug-in and lay it down.
I'll post it when I'm done. If I need any guitar player assistance I'll post it on RiffLink and someone should be able to add a smooth solo/intro/outro.
Look out for the tune called "Tales From The Ripped" If/when it comes up I will take all advise or ideas. Let's make this one GROOVY!!!

Peace

I got this insipation from a member of the Alarm Clock that I was in a band with years ago Drummer Randy Seol. Amazing knowledge that guy was able to dump into my brain. Cool stories, real music played by real people a few cold imported beers and life is good.
