Riffworks crashing at metronome hi cowell loading

Its crashing everytime i start the program up. I have the demo version and im using a tascam us 122 as my audio device. It freezes up everytime and i havent got to use the program yet. I've seen a few posts about people with the same problem and im curious if anyone has figured out how to solve this.

Seems to be a known issue. Make sure your unit is powered on and working before you start Riffworks. Once you get the error you may need to shut down Riffworks with task manager, then either reattach your usb device or reboot.
