Is there a way to set up RiffWorks 2 Standard to always start up with a certain tempo, Instant Drummer, amp plug-in, etc? I'm hoping there is a preferences document or file that was installed where I can change the default parameters. If not, will you consider it for the next release? It would go a LONG way with me as I am always having to do several tasks before I can get started and of course, it breaks my flow a bit :)

Riffworks users are needy huh? You guys sooooooo spoiled us!!

I am not aware of a way to preset preferences. Of course, and as you know, when you save a riff all the tempo tweaks, etc. are saved for that one tune.

There is a way to set an amp plug-in with line6 interfaces but I am sure you’re looking for something more comprehensive.

Not a bad suggestion. Perhaps a SWW tech will chip in.

Open the program, set all your "defaults" so to speak in Riff1. In your Programs/RiffWorks/Resources folder is a small song file called "Default" and if you save it over that file, most of what you want (amp settings excluded) will come up each time you start the program.

HMMmmmm, depends if you're referring to the trees of the genus Aesculus related to the Mexican Buckeye or the Buckeye chicken or the strange game you call football. I obviously will need to do some homework on all of these soon.......

As to Scotty's comment, I'm not surprised really, hotpants, men in skirts and caber tossing is a crazy mixture for me at the best of times and this the homework area for Gator.

When all's said and done, it's quite comforting to realise I'm becoming misunderstood internationally, is that like being famous ?....

Uncle Bill.

P.S. Nobody should be too concerned as I don't understand me and I live a lot closer to me than Scotty does !!!!

That's what wives do, translate what your saying, to mean whatever they want? So us married guys might as well speak gibberish. :) or talk about the weather.

The gator (alligator mississippiensis): A hideous and ill-tempered green scale-clad reptilian creature known for eating pets belonging to the elderly and small children. With a taste akin to chicken or rabbit, gator farming is growing industry in Florida, Texas and Louisiana. Approximately 300,000 pounds of gator meat is produced annually.
