Whats up everyone? I finally ponied up and downloaded Riffworks Standard. When I open RW everything seems to work fine, but I cannot hear my guitar at all. The meter bars light up like I am getting a signal into RW, I just don't hear it. I am using guitar port. When I open guitar port on its own, I can hear guitar fine...same thing with RW v.1. Do I have to have gear box installed to work? I currently do not. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

nevermind...I got it going....I had to download gearbox.

And you'll be glad that you did. You'll notice some new amp models and effects in the free Gearbox upgrade. The power pack add on was also expanded too include new stuff too.

Just off the top of my head there is the 18watt Marshall, Fawn, an Orange amp from Pod 2.0, 8 wahs, Bender, bass overdrive, and more. Not sure which effects come free from the standard set and powerpack though.

Hey thanks guys. Yeah, I'm starting to dial in some sounds I like out of gearbox already. All the new drum loops seem to be coaxing some sweet new riffs out of me. I should be posting somthing new in short order.
