Here's the deal. I bought the guitarport and riffworks package deal. My guitarport was defective and Line 6 has sent me a new one. Now when I go to riffworks it shows up as not being registered. It seems like the registration code was built into the guitarport and automatically registers it when I connected to the internet. The guitarport has the riff tracker sticker on it ( the original one) but the new one I just got does not. I am wondering how do I go about getting this fixed. Any help we greatly be appreciated.

You should be able to deregister your old GP and register your new one at the Line 6 website. Go to your accounts page.
Make sure you download the Line6 Monkey too to keep everything up to date.
At worst, you might have to uninstall everything and start from fresh so that all the component parts pick each other up.

You need to transfer your RiffWorks license key from the old device to the new device. However, you can't do that because the old device is broken. So Line 6 needs to release the RiffWorks key from the old GuitarPort so that you can transfer the key to your new device using the Line 6 Monkey. You might want to check your Line 6 "License Keys" page under "My Account" over at Line6.com to see if RiffWorks is actually still associated with the old GuitarPort before contacting them.
Let us know how that works out,
