First off, here's my situation. I record into Riffworks via USB connected to my Black Box Reloaded. Everything works great. Riffworks records the guitar signal coming in and I can monitor what I've recorded from Riffworks back out into the Black Box and the speakers I have connected to it. Now, what I want to do is be able to listen to recordings I've made in Riffworks without having to connect my Black Box just to hear recordings I've made. This way, if I want to start Riffworks and pull up a recording I made earlier, I can work on it(lets say applying effects), and I don't have to hook everything back up as if I am going to start recording fresh guitar tracks. Currently, I can not listen to anything in Riffworks through the speakers connected to the computer because my computer has an integrated sound card that does not utilize ASIO. I have extra PCI slots, so I want to find a sound card that has ASIO drivers. So, what sound cards are you using, recommend, or can hear your recordings through the PCs' speakers? Thanks for the help!

You can try out the free ASIO4ALL driver. What it does is add a layer of ASIO to windows drivers, it should work with your internal soundcard and allow you to use it with Riffworks Standard.

V2.6 is the current release, the others are beta. When you first run the program you just need to configure the ins and outs. Then it should show up in your Riffworks audio set up.

Cheers!

I have heard of it(don't know anything about it), but wasn't sure if it would apply to integrated sound cards. Also, I heard of ASIO4ALLv2. Are they the same thing and, if not, is one recommended for Windows XP Pro with service pack 2? Thanks!

I went to the web site and realized that it is version 2. I tried it and it works. Thanks for the help! Now I got to find some decent monitors. The speakers for the computer reveal more than the speakers I'm recording with. Always something isn't it!
