Hi all, just started making a new song, going pretty well, although i think i am startin to become a bit of an addict of this thing! not been off it all day! Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to get a gradual volume swell at the start of my song? what i have is drums for 4 beats, but then as soon as my intro riff starts its at full volume, where as i want it to be a gradual fade in. Dont spose anyone watches the golf? golf and guitar all day, what more could a man ask for!

use the "info" tab to see your layer in a wave like form..then you can use your cursor and draw a fade in to the front end of that layer....now,if you could put strings on a golf club???.

go up to the mix tab..there u will be able to mix to .ogg or wave...to covert to a mp3..you need a converter..theres many free ones to pick from on the web.

You can download "Audacity", a free audio converter, which will change .ogg or .wav file to .mp3 (there others out there too).
It will also allow you to fade in and fade out your track as well as tweak it for volume, EQ etc.
I did say on your RiffCast post that you'd shortly be suffering from insomnia as RWS gets its claws in to you! :)
Cheers!
Scott

If he's got RiffWorks, a Fender, and someone kind enough to go out and buy beer every once in a while, we may never see him again.
