what is cross platform?

will it stop the fight between my kb37 and my maudio delta 44?the kb 37 with line 6 edition seems to want to take over and greys out the buffer adjust so i cant get rid of the keyboard latency.can these two work together with cross platform?
Nothing is impossible for the person who doesn't have to do it.

I believe cross platform means that the software will run on both PC (windows) and Mac's (OS whatever).
