Hi Guys,

I'm hoping somebody can help me with a issue.

I was recently bought a Line-6 Tone port UX2. I installed all the software - including Riffworks - and had a bit of a mess about.
Riffworks worked OK - except it became apparent it was a demo version; so I shelled out $99 to upgrade to the full version.
I've registered it, and all the functionality seems to be there ... only I can't get any sound out of it. As I said, before I upgraded I could hear the drummer thingy fine. I haven't altered any of my set-up, but now ... nothing.
I've also noticed that Riffworks isn't indicating it can hear my guitar ( nothing in the input lights ), again this was OK previously.
I know the drum sounds are playing as I can see the needles on the on the output dials are moving.
The help files tell me that I need to change the sound devices, only I've just found out that the Line-6 version only works with a Line-6 device, so that advice doesn't seem to apply.

I know I'm probably being a tad dim, but any advice would be most appreciated.

Many thanks,

Mark.

I am not really sure. I think you might have to run L6 Monkey and assign your L6 device to RW.
Make sure you have register your equipment with L6 first and set up an account.
The L6 version of RiffWorks needs to have a L6 device assigned to it and only one device can be assigned at any given time.

Click the Bottom Right button for audio setup
and make sure a driver is there as selected for asio.

USB asio devices have a tendency to dissappear sometimes,

if you dont see any driver listes, close riffworks.

Disconnect your device from usb and plug that back on so that it reinitializes the USB driver.

Load riffworks and it should work. Has happend to me several times with POD-XTL.

Yay !!

Problem was indeed solved by disconnecting the UX2, and then re-connecting it !!

I feel such a 'narna !!

Thank you very much for the info.
