StealthPlug/RiffWorks Bundle from Guitar Center

Hello! I just purchased these two programs today.... I'm having a hard time getting it to work. When I click on the Riffworks Icon, I get a message saying "Incompatible Driver Detected".... "Please update your IK stealthplug driver to a more recent version to use it with riffworks." I did go to a website Riffworks prompted me to go to immediately when I loaded the program to update to a more recent version.... but I keep getting this message.

I'm not really a whiz with computers, any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jim,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for purchasing RiffWorks!

I'm not sure IK is shipping the Stealthplug with the older drivers, but you'll need to update them to be able to use it with RiffWorks. Here's how:

You need to first register your Stealth Plug if you haven't already done so.

1. Go to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/
2. On the upper-left hand portion of the page under "Support", click on the "Product Registration" link.
3. If you don't already have an IK login, click "click here" under "New Users"
4. Fill out the registration page and complete the registration process.

Once registered you just need to finish up by downloading and installing the latest drivers:

1. Go to http://www.ikmultimedia.com/
2. On the upper-left hand portion of the page under "Support", click on the "User Area" link.
3. A new window will pop up. Enter your newly created login name and password.
4. Once logged in, click on the "Download software Updates and Free contents"
5. In the list, find the "StealthPlug Windows XP Drivers 1.1.0.4" and download them to your computer's desktop.
6. Once downloaded, double-click the downloaded file to initiate the driver installation.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.
8. Restart your computer
