I see it list the toneport ux1/2 but did not see the GX model. Was just wondering if anyone knew if it worked or not. I am looking at getting the guitarport/RW line 6 edition or maybe the GX and the standard edition. Anyway thanks in advance and hello all, I am new to the forums.

Hello. The GX should work fine as far as I know. It's a fairly new product so that might be why it is not on the Sonoma page. It uses the same drivers as the other Toneport models and you should be able to get either the Line6 edition or Standard to work with it, but the Standard version is less hassle.

Hey BeerSnob (cool nic)......... if your a guitarplayer only then get GuitarPort............but if you have your eyes on vox as well ..........then Toneport UX2 is the way to go my man.............and you mos def will want the Standard version so as NOT to be tied to your Line 6 device........with Standard you will be able to use Guitar Rig 2, Amplitube 2, StealthPlug, Etc....so you have more recording options..........Standard IS the way to go.

Well I went with the Standard riffworks and the stealthplug for 149.00 though they are back ordered so may be a while. You guys know if that is a good combo? Seems like it should be since they are packaged together, thanks.

Stealthplug should do nicely. Amplitube has some good street cred going in the modeling world. Don't worry about being a beer snob either, if you hang around here long enough, you might turn into a beer slut, though.

Thanks all. Now I just get to wait a few weeks and try not to buy the line 6 version first while I wait hehe. Nothing wrong with some beer sluts :)
