Hi all and thanks for a great protuct in riffworks....

Can someone give a very basic insight on getting riffworks to work in cubase...

I understand that it needs guitar port to work in which I have...

I have the guitar port enabled and can hear my guitar threw it but nothing else (ie drums)

When I press the play button on riffworks nothing happens..

What should I know....Thanks

Hi !

It´s not RiffWorks you´re using in Cubase. It´s Guitarport.
Enable GuitarPort in Device Setup in Cubase....thats it.

Start Cubase first....then Guitarport.
Select a sound....hit the strings, and off you go !

Happy playing !

If your talking about the Rewire functionality in RiffWorks, it won't work with Cubase. They both only operate as Rewire "masters" and you can only have one "master" with any number of "devices". We might make RiffWorks work as a device in the future, but it didn't make it into the 1.0 spec.

You can always mix down some audio from RiffWorks and load it into Cubase as a wave file. Or if you just want the guitar amps, you can do as Kensa suggested...
