What about "acidized" wavs?

I'm starting to get into the REX player more and I'm really enjoying the option to play REX2 loops and mix them up with Instant Drummers. On that note, don't acidized wav files work the same way? Can we incorporate some sort of player for these as well?

I'm not talking about importing standard wavs or converting wavs for use in RiffWorks. I know a lot of folks are also asking for this feature. What I'm talking about are time-based (acidized) wav files that function in the same way the REX loops do.

Any plans for this? Will you include it in a future release? It really sucks being limited to JUST REX files for creating background loops!

Thanks my good friends! I still love this product :)

Peace,
Rich

It's a great idea, I'm sure they have thought about it at some point. My guess is that it may drive up the cost of Riffworks to get the liscensing for it?

There are a great deal of "improvements" I see suggested that I believe will turn RW into a $399.00-$499.00 piece of software if they were all incorporated. I'd rather see it remain pretty much limited and remain the great affordable tool that it is as of now.
If Sonoma wants to venture into the high end market I would suggest a separate RW Pro maybe and not completely abandon the present platform.

I for one would probably be the 1st in line to upgrade to RW Pro if it WERE available...........all great ideas but the price of the software would MOS DEF go up...........I say leave it as is and no doubt Sonoma has some ideas up there sleeves as well........they've ALWAYS stood by us so we should reciprocate..........NO program has it all and is perfect and if they were ...........then they're not made for us guitar players.......
Sonoma will no doubt listen to ideas ....they always have........

All good points guys! I too have SERIOUS brand loyalty when it comes to our friends at Wireworks. You KNOW I DO! ;) I'm still hopeful for some sort of wav import feature on the next release. Just sendin' out the ideas as they come. Maybe some will be implemented, maybe not. It certainly can't hurt right? All the love...

My only wish really (and I have said it many times) is ReWire Slave along with Master.
I would also like to see the output limiter be able to be disengaged and the ability for VSTs to be used on the output side of things rather than just the inputs. Other than that I can live without everything else.....but then again I know some can't LOL :D
