Need a workaround for gain adjustment on drums

Ok, say I need the song (or part) to fade out all instruments including, the drums. How can I do this? The Instant Drummer (or backups) section does not have the "Info" button for automating gain.

Has anyone thought of a good workaround for this? Thanks!

Try mixing just a drum track to riff. Then importing the drum track and using the gain on that track to fade. I think in order to do this you'll have to start with your drum track. I don't think you can import it into a riff you already have several layers on. One of these guys suggested this to me but I never got to try it. Tell me if it works.

Rich do you want to fade out the whole thing? I'd do it in this order to be safe:

1. Export the riff you want to fade
2. Create a new song, import that riff, put it in the songbar and do mix-to-riff.
3. Export the riff
4. Open the original song file, import the new riff, replace the old riff on the songbar, and use "Info" to apply your fade.

Not super elegant but not too tough either!

Thanks guys. Good suggestions! I was looking for a way to do this on RiffLink for song endings where everything fades out...

You can still import / export on RiffLink for the desired fade effect Rich....
