I just bought the PreSonus GT that comes bundled with Riffworks Jr. and other select programs.

Running an iMac G5, 1.8 ghz
2 GB ram
OSX 10.3.7

I installed the PreSonus software and the Cubase software and all appears to work. By that I mean that they open...I am totally new to all of this and am just trying to get things installed and launched at this point.

I installed the Riffworks Jr. software to the Applications folder, by clicking on a blank icon that was about 150 MB in size.

Nothing happened when I tried to open the application. It wouldn't launch or even appear on the Dock as if it was trying to open.

Is it as simple as upgrading to OSX 10.4 or do I have to register the product before being able to open it?

Maybe I didn't install it correctly? Any instructions/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jud,

I'm sorry, but RiffWorks requires that you are using Mac OS 10.4 or newer. 10.3.7 is incompatible and is the cause of the problem you are experiencing.

I wish I had better news for you.

Best regards,
Randy
